Ñuu Davii is grown by indigenous Mixtec farmers in San Juan Coatzóspam, located in the mountainous Sierra Flores de Magón region of Oaxaca. Coffee has long been a part of daily life in these communities, maintained through careful cultivation and shared local knowledge. Many producers also grow milpa - traditional polycultures of corn, beans, squash and chilli - providing additional income, food supplies and supporting long-term soil health.
