Searching for a delicious decaffeinated coffee?

With our Colombian decaf, you can expect notes of chocolate and caramel, soft fruit undertones, and a smooth rounded body with a clean finish. The cup stays sweet and balanced whether enjoyed on its own or with milk.

The Swiss Water Process uses only water, temperature, and time to gently remove caffeine without chemicals and without stripping away the coffee’s flavour. The goal is to keep the coffee true to its origin, just without the caffeine.

We approach this coffee with the same care as any of our other releases because decaf deserves the same attention and intention as everything else we roast.

Pallet Coffee Roasters

Context

This decaffeinated offering from Pallet Coffee Roasters showcases how careful processing can preserve complexity in caffeine-removed coffees. Sourced from Colombia, the beans undergo the Swiss Water process, a method known for its gentle approach to extraction that aims to retain origin characteristics. The roaster identifies chocolate, caramel, and soft fruit in the cup—a balanced profile suggesting both sweetness and subtle berry or stone fruit notes. Swiss Water decafs tend to offer cleaner, more delicate flavor expression compared to solvent-based alternatives, making this a compelling option for those seeking afternoon enjoyment without caffeine. The combination of familiar chocolate and caramel with lighter fruit notes invites exploration across the flavor spectrum.
