From the world record-setting farm behind the Best of Panama 2025. In an unprecedented sweep at the Best of Panama (BOP) 2025, Hacienda La Esmeralda achieved two world record scores—98.00 points for Geisha Washed and 97.00 points for Geisha Natural—solidifying its legacy as one of the most exceptional producers of Panamanian Geisha coffee. These results were celebrated by 22 international judges during the Boquete tasting.

Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Aguila Washed Geisha 4FC delivers a vibrant and fruit-forward cup, featuring fresh redcurrant and blueberry, lifted by juicy raspberry and refined jasmine aromatics. Its bright acidity and silky body create a lively yet elegant experience that highlights the nuanced flavour profile of the Geisha varietal.

The washed process ensures clarity and balance: ripe cherries are carefully hand-picked, pulped, and fully washed before slow drying in controlled cold rooms. This method preserves clean fruit notes and floral intensity, resulting in a crisp and expressive coffee.
