Flavour notes

Vibrant & juicy, honeyed stone fruit, tropical fruit

Roasters' Notes:

El Triangulo expresses the inherent qualities of the Pink Bourbon variety with remarkable sweetness, high cup clarity, and bright acidity with a more tea-like structure. This lot in particular presents a vibrant cup with notes of honeyed stone fruit and layered juiciness.

We approach this roast from a moderate starting point, building momentum in a controlled, measured way. Careful attention is given through the mid-phase of the roast to balance sweetness development and clarity. From first crack, the focus is on maximising sweetness while preserving the delicate aromatic layers of this reserve lot. The result is a cup that remains bright, juicy, and articulate, with a clear expression of varietal character and exceptional processing.

Roast style: Progressive

Region Info

El Triangulo is a small, producer-owned farm in El Placer, Santa María, Huila, where coffee is grown alongside fruit trees and vegetables in a diverse, self-sustaining ecosystem.

The farm is managed by Jamer Alberto Cubillos Romero, who acquired the land in 2020 and lives there with his wife and children. From the beginning, his focus has been on quality, starting with the planting of Pink Bourbon as a foundational variety and gradually refining both cultivation and processing to unlock greater expression from the land.

El Triángulo is also supported by Cuatro Vientos, a family-owned company operating across Huila that works with smallholder producers to offer both microlots and regional blends. Within this wider network, El Triángulo reflects a small-scale approach defined by care and attention at every stage.
