This washed lot comes from Leonardo Henao, a dedicated coffee producer from Santa Bárbara, Antioquia, whose lifelong passion for coffee has driven him to refine his craft and pursue excellence, earning him the title of Champion of the Cup of Excellence in 2020. After selling his farm in 2022, he returned to coffee production in 2024 with the acquisition of Finca El Jardín, where he continues to apply his expertise while sharing his knowledge with fellow producers, fostering a thriving and diverse coffee culture in Colombia.

Geisha is widely regarded as one of specialty coffee's most celebrated varietals, prized for its delicate floral aromatics, tea-like clarity, and pronounced stone-fruit complexity. When grown at the right conditions, it tends to express a transparency that rewards careful processing. Here, producer Leonardo Henao pairs the varietal with an anaerobic washed process — a method in which oxygen is restricted during fermentation before the fruit is removed, a technique known to amplify sweetness and introduce layered fermentation-driven nuance while retaining the brightness characteristic of washed coffees.
