Once we found this meticulously sorted and decaffeinated coffee from Huila, Colombia we knew we had to get it in the roaster. It's become the go-to afternoon choice for our customers and staff alike. This decaffeinated espresso from Everyday Coffee sources Caturra grown in Colombia's Huila region at 1500–1750 masl. The coffee undergoes EA (ethyl acetate) natural decaffeination, a method that preserves much of the bean's original character while removing caffeine. Natural-process coffees tend toward fuller body and fruit-forward profiles, though decaffeination can affect complexity. The roaster identifies this lot as sweet and smooth—qualities well-suited to espresso applications where body and mouthfeel become prominent.
