Context

Elixr Coffee's Lunar Lander Seasonal is a washed Ethiopian that showcases the bright, nuanced character typical of carefully processed East African coffees. The washed process emphasizes the bean's inherent acidity and clarity, allowing delicate aromatics to shine through. Roaster notes of apricot and candied orange suggest a coffee with pronounced stone fruit and citrus qualities, while the anise and caramel add subtle spice and body—a layered profile that rewards both espresso and filter preparation. The name evokes the seasonal nature of Ethiopia's harvest cycles, which play a significant role in flavor expression. Reference the flavor wheel to identify where these tasting notes land in your own experience.
