Dayglow

Context

This Herbazu from Dayglow presents a San Roque varietal grown by Don Toño in Cirri, Naranjo's distinguished coffee-producing region of Costa Rica. At 1600 masl, the elevation supports the development of the vibrant juicy fruit notes the roaster emphasizes—characteristics typical of coffees from this origin's terroir. The San Roque varietal, though less common than its better-known cousins, brings its own dimensional complexity to the cup.

Dayglow's tasting profile invites exploration of the fruit-forward character using the sensory language of the flavor wheel to pinpoint specific notes. Costa Rican coffees from this region frequently balance brightness with body, making them accessible yet rewarding for both everyday drinking and closer sensory examination.
