From the roaster

This is an extra special sparkling Sidra artistically processed by one of our oldest producing partners Rodrigo Sanchez. This beautiful work of coffee art is put in a cellar to ferment for 80 hours in cold temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees without freezing, then it is washed and the excess of mucilage is removed and deposited to dry in African beds for 25 days. This leads to a cup that sparkles like a warm spring morning. Leading with a sweet blood orang and deep brown sugar this cup cools into a really fun plum! This is a very limited release so check the info below and grab one one while ya can!

Brandywine Coffee Roasters

Context

This Colombian lot from Brandywine Coffee Roasters showcases the Sidra varietal grown by producer Rodrigo Sanchez in Acevedo, Colombia. The cold-washed processing method emphasizes clean fruit expression, which aligns with the roaster's tasting notes of plum, brown sugar, and blood orange—a profile that bridges bright citrus with deeper stone fruit character. Sidra is prized for its distinctive flavor complexity, and this origin's elevation supports the development of nuanced sweetness and acidity that complement the varietal's natural tendencies.
