Finca Costa Rica

Finca Costa Rica is located in Santa María, Huila, Colombia, and is owned and operated by Faver Ninco and his family. The farm sits at approximately 2,005 meters above sea level, where high elevation and cool temperatures contribute to slow cherry maturation and high-density seeds. After carrying a field blend from this farm last year, we’re excited to feature a single-variety Pink Bourbon from Faver for the first time.

In the cup, this coffee is crisp, juicy, and notably sweet, with flavors of ripe peach and a dense, date-like body.

Finca Costa Rica from Regalia Coffee showcases Pink Bourbon grown at 2005 meters in Colombia's Huila region. Producer Faver Ninco's washed approach emphasizes the varietal's inherent sweetness, yielding crisp, juicy notes anchored by a date-like body and ripe peach character. Pink Bourbon naturally tends toward balanced acidity and fruit-forward profiles, qualities evident in this lot's juxtaposition of bright crispness against deeper dried-fruit sweetness. The coffee demonstrates how altitude and careful processing can highlight a varietal's delicate complexity—here, washed fermentation preserving the peach's clarity while the inherent body provides structure and weight.
