Guatemala, Decaf, Dreams
Roasted by MOK Coffee
Decaffeinated Guatemalan washed coffee with aromatic and juicy cup profile.

From the roaster
Dreams aims to accentuate the ever ongoing desire and struggle to fix the position of the specialty producer in the supply chain and ensure a steady income. Great coffee quality is often the result of the producer’s dedication and work ethic, yet it is them who are too often overlooked in the coffee chain worldwide. In the past few years much has changed in the specialty chain but hopefully the rest of the coffee industry will follow. The Dreams is a carefully curated lot consisting only of washed varieties, sourced in three different coffee growing regions in Guatemala: Antigua, Acatenango and Huehuetenango. These well-scoring, strictly hard bean (‘SHB’) crops were soon selected and redestined for sugar cane decaffeination, a harmless process. The result is an aromatic and juicy cup profile.
This coffee was sourced through our importing partner Coffee Bird, who work exclusively with producers from Guatemala.

Context
MOK Coffee's Guatemala, Decaf, Dreams showcases the volcanic regions of Antigua, Acatenango, and Huehuetenango—three of Guatemala's most celebrated coffee zones. This washed-process decaf retains the aromatic brightness and juicy character typical of the country's high-altitude terroirs. Natural decaffeination methods have improved significantly, and this offering demonstrates how careful processing and origin quality can preserve complexity in decaffeinated coffees.
The aromatic and juicy profile suggests this decaf maintains the liveliness many specialty drinkers seek from Guatemala's mineral-rich volcanic soils. Whether you're exploring MOK Coffee or learning more about Guatemalan origins, this lot represents an intentional approach to decaf selection—prioritizing flavor alongside the reduced-caffeine format.
