STRIPED BORBÓN WILTON BENITEZ
Roasted by Café Devoción Bogotá
Rare Striped Bourbon from Wilton Benitez with vibrant acidity and fruity sweetness.

From the roaster

Context
Wilton Benitez's Striped Borbón from Cauca, Colombia showcases the distinctive character of the Borbón Rayado varietal, a striped mutation prized for its complexity. Processed via lavado—a washed method emphasizing clarity—this coffee from Café Devoción Bogotá balances bright stone fruit and berry notes with delicate floral undertones. The roaster identifies maracuyá and grosella alongside green apple and rose, a profile typical of high-altitude Cauca coffees that develop refined acidity and layered sweetness. Borbón Rayado coffees tend toward tea-like elegance; this lot's combination of fruit-forward and aromatic qualities reflects both varietal expression and the producer's careful cultivation at 2000 masl.
