Roasted by Joe Coffee
Craft instant decaf blend from Honduras with complex flavor profile.

From the roaster
Your favorite cup of Joe coffee is now available in a craft-prepared instant version—the perfect option when you’re camping, flying, on the road, or simply on the go.
Processed in collaboration with our friends at Swift Cup Coffee, we meticulously roast our coffee in small batches and through Swift Cup’s proprietary process, the coffee is carefully brewed to a very flavorful concentrate before being slowly dehydrated by freeze drying. The result is a concentrated instant coffee that allows the complexity and delicate flavor profile of the roast to shine through.
Our Nightcap Decaf is a seasonally-driven decaffeinated offering selected based on the perfect intersection of sweetness, acidity, and flavor. Currently, Nightcap is a blend of coffees from Honduras, decaffeinated at the Descamex Mountain Water Processing facility in Mexico.
Each box includes 6 individual 5g sachets of instant coffee. Simply add 8-10 oz of hot or cold water to enjoy.

Context
Joe Coffee's Nightcap Decaf offers a convenient specialty instant format sourced from Honduras. This decaffeinated option captures sweetness and acidity—characteristics the roaster has emphasized in their profile. Instant coffees have become increasingly refined, allowing specialty roasters to preserve nuanced flavor dimensions typically associated with freshly brewed preparations. The decaffeination process presents particular technical challenges for maintaining clarity and origin character, making this format an interesting choice for an origin known for its distinctive cup profile. For those exploring how roasters translate Honduras coffees into alternative formats, Joe Coffee presents a case study in balancing convenience with sensory integrity.
