Foundry Coffee Roasters
Foundry Coffee Roasters is a Sheffield-based independent specialty coffee roaster, established in 2012, committed exclusively to single-origin, carbon-neutral coffee roasted to order.
Founded in 2012, Foundry Coffee Roasters operates as a fully independent small business based at Cutlery Works, a food hall in Neepsend, Sheffield, where it runs both a roastery and a coffee shop. The roaster holds a strict no-blends policy, believing blends represent the commodification of specialty coffee, and sells only 100% single-origin beans intended to reflect and respect the communities in which the coffee was grown. Roasting takes place every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday to ensure freshness. Foundry has measured and offset its greenhouse gas emissions since 2020, pursuing carbon-neutral status, and uses packaging made from post-consumer waste and recycled materials. The business has been a Real Living Wage employer since 2018 and operates a loyalty points programme for returning customers. Shipping is handled via Royal Mail 24 Tracked, with free delivery on orders over 1kg. All customer reviews are verified and published without curation.
