Chiroso Las Flores
Roasted by Nomad Coffee
Fresh Ethiopian varietal coffee with citric and herbal notes by Jhoan Vergara.

From the roaster

Context
This Chiroso Las Flores from producer Jhoan Vergara showcases the distinctive Chiroso varietal grown in Flores. Nomad Coffee's roast emphasizes herbaceous and confectionery notes, drawing out rosemary honey alongside bright lemon caramel and herbal lemongrass. The profile evolves through white chocolate and cocoa butter into a cooling after-eight finish—a progression that balances sweetness with aromatic complexity.
The Chiroso varietal, while less widely known than mainstream cultivars, brings its own character to the cup. This lot demonstrates how producer focus and roast approach can highlight delicate sensory dimensions: the interplay between floral honey notes and citric sweetness, grounded by cocoa richness.
