Kartika

Coffea arabica (Catimor-derived)

Clean, mild, sweet when carefully processed.

Kartika is a compact Catimor-derived variety released for Indonesian smallholders, notably planted in Bali's Kintamani highlands and West Java. Self-compatible, early-bearing, and rust-resistant, it suits small farms, and under the careful washed processing of regions like Kintamani it can give clean, mild, sweet cups quite different from the heavy wet-hulled Sumatran style.
